Like the rest of the saga, Aero Dancing i favors technical aircraft handling over unrestrained action, with flight tests, acrobatics, and missions that reward precision over reflexes. It's part of a handful of serious simulators Dreamcast received almost exclusively for Japan, in a genre Sega rarely explored on other platforms.
It remains, like the rest of the series, a niche title that never crossed the Pacific; its interest today is mostly archaeological, for anyone wanting to see just how far simulation software went on the console.
