'96 Flag Rally is a racing game from Kaneko, the Japanese company better known for its shooters and colorful action titles. Here they apply that same vibrant palette to a top-down rally, with tight stages, jumps, and a handful of cartoonishly styled cars.
It's not a simulator and never pretends to be one: it's pure reflex-driven arcade racing, built for short runs against the clock. Today it survives as a charming curiosity in the 90s racing catalog, closer in spirit to Kaneko than to Sega Rally or Ridge Racer.
