240p Test Suite isn't a commercial title but a technical utility created by the retro community (associated with Artemio Urbina) to check overscan, geometry, colors, audio, and other video parameters at 240p, the native resolution of much of the arcade and classic console hardware. It circulates on period boards and systems as a diagnostic tool. Its place today is that of a reference instrument for anyone tuning a cabinet or a monitor: it confirms the picture looks the way it should before sitting down to play anything else in the collection.
