The 1994 Donkey Kong starts out as a copy of the 1981 arcade game and then reveals its true face: almost a hundred puzzle-platformer levels with an acrobatic Mario capable of handstands and mid-air jumps. It was the first Super Game Boy-compatible game and remains an absolute masterpiece.
