Alien Resurrection is a first-person shooter based on the fourth film in the Alien saga, with a cloned Ripley facing xenomorphs in the claustrophobic corridors of a ship. Its oppressive atmosphere and sound design were celebrated, though its control scheme, unconventional for the time, divided critics and PlayStation's audience.
