Kazunori Yamauchi's simulator grew so ambitious it couldn't fit on a single disc: one for arcade mode, another for simulation mode with roughly 650 cars, including manufacturers no video game had ever licensed before. It became the definitive automotive encyclopedia of the 32-bit era and sold more than nine million copies.
