A spin-off starring Ax Battler, the barbarian from Golden Axe, cast as an adventure: an explorable world map, villages offering advice, and side-scrolling battles where the sword and jug magic do the rest. A radical departure from the original beat 'em up, closer to the Zelda II school. A curious solo branch of a legendary Sega saga.
