Franky, Joe & Dirk - On the Tiles is one of those titles that only circulated in Europe, with a language selector between German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Dutch built right into the cartridge. The premise combines platforming with floor-by-floor puzzle solving, a common format on mid-'90s Game Boy for family-oriented games. It left no great critical mark and isn't part of any recognizable franchise, but it's representative of an era when European catalogs were full of modest, competent platformers that are now practically forgotten.
