Based on the manga by Yoichi Takahashi that popularized soccer in otaku culture, it adapts the series' exaggerated style -special shots, impossible jumps- into a sports videogame with arcade mechanics rather than realistic simulation. It never left Japan; it's a piece of interest for fans of the franchise and of the stylized soccer so characteristic of Captain Tsubasa.
