Culture Brain understood that 8-bit baseball needed some fantasy: in their Ultra League, pitchers throw balls that stop dead in midair and batters connect for missile-like home runs. It also works as a serious simulator, with seasons and stats, but nobody remembers it for that. One of the most creative sports games on the NES.
