AeroWings was one of Dreamcast's Western launch titles, developed by the Japanese studio Crab and published by Sega. Rather than betting on aerial combat, it offers acrobatic and precision flying with civilian light aircraft, with stunt missions and time-trial races closer to arcade spirit than hardcore simulation.
It got overshadowed by flashier releases from that first Dreamcast wave, but it remains an example of how Sega sought to cover niche genres from the console's very first day.
