Series 3 of Animal Crossing-e for GameCube via e-Reader. The commercial promise was simple and a bit cynical: pay to choose your neighbors. The execution, though, had handmade charm. Sliding Annalise's card and watching her move in was a reward disproportionate to the effort. Today the card outlasts the hardware that read it.
