Tetsuwan Atom - Atom Heart no Himitsu is the original Japanese title of what became known in the West as Astro Boy: Omega Factor, developed jointly by Treasure and Hitmaker together with Tezuka Productions and Sega. Far from being a minor or conventional adaptation, it's the same critically acclaimed game that later reached North America in 2004 and Europe in 2005 under its Western title.
Based on the manga and anime created by Osamu Tezuka, it combines direct action combat with a branching narrative structure depending on the character and the point in the story being played, something unusual for an action title of its time.
