Broken Circle belongs to the Advance homebrew circuit, developed outside Nintendo's commercial channels. It circulates in English and Italian and is preserved as archival heritage of that scene, which kept the platform alive long after its retirement. Its value lies in the gesture: continuing to code for a console the industry had already written off.
