Konami adapted Yoichi Takahashi's manga with its command-based soccer system, where each play is resolved by choosing the right technique. Tsubasa and company pull off shots that defy physics, just like in the comic panels. It was only published in Japan, leaving out the Latin American generations who grew up with the series.
