Animaniacs: The Great Edgar Hunt is an action platformer developed by Terraglyph Interactive Studios and published by BAM! Entertainment in 2005, starring the Warner siblings from the animated series produced by Steven Spielberg. The plot device -chasing the bird Edgar across different settings to collect its eggs- serves as the connecting thread for levels packed with visual gags faithful to the show's absurd tone. It arrived already in the twilight of the generation, when the show itself had been off the air for years, so it worked more as a nostalgic gesture for those who grew up with Animaniacs than as a heavyweight release: a competent platformer, with the license's irreverence as its biggest draw.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
