Bakushou Jinsei 64 - Mezase! Resort Ou belongs to the long Japanese tradition of adapting the Jinsei Game (the local equivalent of The Game of Life) to consoles, with a board, dice, and simulated life decisions, this time with the throughline of building a resort empire.
By design, it's a game meant to be played in groups and in short sessions, closer to a family pastime than to any genre ambition. Like most titles in this line, it never left Japan.
