Asterix at the Olympic Games accompanied the 2008 theatrical release, adapting the escapades of Asterix and Obelix to Ancient Greece, this time competing in the Olympic Games. The DS version offers sports minigames and action levels with the characters created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.
Like much of the Asterix console licenses, it's aimed at the European family audience that follows the character since the comics, with a light tone built to accompany the film's release rather than to leave its own gameplay mark.
