Captain Tsubasa - New Kick Off brings to DS the soccer franchise created by Yoichi Takahashi, known in Latin America as Supercampeones, famous for combining soccer matches with impossible techniques and shots worthy of an action shonen. The game keeps that identity: exaggerated arcade soccer rather than simulation.
It reached Europe in several languages, aimed at the audience that followed the anime and manga during the 80s and 90s and found in these videogames a way to replicate the famous special shots of Tsubasa Ozora and company.
