Originally developed for Wii by Cat Daddy Games and adapted for DS, Carnival Games gathers around twenty classic amusement-park attractions -target shooting, ring toss, darts, carnival bowling- resolved with the stylus as a substitute for the motion controller. It was a notable commercial success in its Wii version, which drove its port to the handheld.
It's a family compilation par excellence, with no pretension beyond recreating the feeling of a day at the fair; its interest today is mainly nostalgic, for those who lived through the peak popularity of this kind of minigame collection in the late 2000s.
