Based on the 2005 Disney film, the game picks up the premise of the imaginary sequel shown within the movie itself -where Chicken Little is a secret agent named 'Ace'- to build third-person shooting and action levels against alien invaders, with the film's cast as playable allies. It's a tie-in of a formula already familiar at the time: light action, faithful to the film's humor, designed to accompany the release and not much beyond that.
