With no plot detours, the game revisits the founding shoot 'em up formula: rows of alien invaders descend down the screen and must be cleared before they reach the bottom, with power-ups and occasional bosses to vary the pace.
It's a low-budget title, made for the DS catalog's economy segment. It scratches the genre's nostalgia itch but doesn't add anything other shooters on the console didn't do better.
