Based on the long-running French TV show 'Des Chiffres et des Lettres' -one of the oldest game shows in Europe, airing continuously since the sixties- the game reproduces its two signature rounds: forming the longest possible word from a random set of letters, and reaching a target number by combining mathematical operations with given figures.
It's a classic example of the wave of TV game show adaptations that DS fully exploited in France, designed for an adult and family audience used to the original program and its particular mental demands.
