Developed by Office Create, this second Cooking Mama keeps the touch-minigame formula that simulates each step of a recipe -chopping, whisking, frying- but doubles the number of available dishes compared to the original and adds a 'Cook Off' mode to compete against other players on the same console. It cemented the series as one of DS's most identifiable casual franchises, thanks to an accessible design that required no prior video game experience, which also made it a hit among adult audiences who normally didn't play.
