The first entry in the Arc the Lad saga, a tactical RPG developed by SCE Japan Studio that follows young Arc's search for his missing father, accompanied by the wolf Chobin. It combines grid-based turn-based combat with an episodic narrative divided into chapters. It laid the groundwork for a franchise that would define the Japanese tactical genre on PS1.
