Console adaptation of Sid Meier's turn-based strategy classic: founding cities, researching technologies, and carrying a civilization from the Stone Age to the space era. Controller input replaces the original mouse, an adjustment that critics of the time received with reservations. It's still Civilization in essence, just played from the couch.
