Developed by Electronic Arts, this third-person shooter revisits the plot of From Russia with Love and made headlines at the time for scanning the face and voice of a Sean Connery long retired from the role to bring him back to the screen, both graphically and in dialogue. The gameplay combines gunfights, cover mechanics, and the odd classic gadget from the series, in line with the Bond games EA had been polishing since Everything or Nothing.
Today it works as a curiosity within the 007 catalog: not the best Bond of the generation, but one of the most ambitious experiments in digitally reconstructing an actor, something that anticipated debates that are commonplace today.
