AFL Live 2004 brought Australian rules football to PS2 with licensed teams and players, aimed at a local audience for whom this sport is as central as soccer or rugby are in other regions.
It's a niche product outside Australia, but it documents well how the PS2 industry catered to regional sports markets that rarely made it to South America or the United States.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
