Mercury and its sequel Mercury Meltdown are tilt puzzles: the player guides a blob of liquid mercury through mazes using the console's directional controls, splitting and merging the blob depending on the color of each surface. The series, devised by veteran British designer Archer Maclean, was one of the most praised puzzle games in PSP's early catalog for its technical polish and honest difficulty curve. This combo, packing both titles onto a single UMD, is the most complete way to try the formula — ideal for anyone after a short-session puzzle game with no fuss.
