Air Conflicts: Aces of World War II brings PSP the war-focused branch of Air Conflicts, centered on World War II squadrons and fighter planes. Against the more arcade style of other flight games, this one looks for firmer footing in historical setting, with missions based on real scenarios and units from the conflict.
It's a niche title, made for the audience that closely follows European war simulators of the time, and it never had the impact of the major flight franchises. Even so, it's part of that less-visited side of PSP's catalog: aerial war games of modest production but serious thematic ambition.
