IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey brings to PSP a more accessible version of Gaijin Entertainment's well-regarded flight combat simulation saga, starring World War II fighter planes. Unlike the series' more hardcore PC entries, this adaptation trims control complexity to make it playable with the handheld's limited button layout, without fully giving up its historical setting.
It was one of the strongest flight simulation options in PSP's late-life catalog, thanks to the prestige Gaijin Entertainment already had in the genre through its PC versions. For fans of wartime aerial combat, it's one of the console's most recommendable entries in that category.
