An action-adventure based on the Zillion anime, co-produced with Sega's involvement, whose laser gun was itself inspired by the console's own Light Phaser. JJ infiltrates a maze-like base, cracking codes and freeing teammates, with unhurried exploration closer to Metroid than to an arcade shooter. A cult piece that ties television and video game together like few others.
