The 8-bit entry that let players control Tails for the first time in the junior side of the series: Robotnik steals the Red Emerald, and the duo rolls out rocket skateboards, springs, and breakneck levels to get it back. Slicker and more generous than its handheld predecessors, it's among the best of 8-bit Sonic. Pocket-sized speed on a big screen.
