Konami brought NCS's Assault Suits Valken to the West: a heavy-mech run-and-gun with realistic inertia, destructible scenery, and an orbital war told without heroes or fanfare. Its sprite animation and somber tone made it an instant cult classic. One of the best robot games on the entire console.
