Street Fighter II fever spawned so many speed-hacked bootlegs, like the infamous Rainbow Edition, that Capcom decided to make the speed official: Hyper Fighting in arcades and this Turbo version at home. It brought the boss characters into play, balance tweaks, and the very speed that defined competitive versus play. The cartridge sold over four million copies and turned the SNES into the ultimate home arcade of the nineties.
