Boong-Ga Boong-Ga is a South Korean prize machine developed by TaffSystem and released in 2001, conceived as a physical prank rather than a conventional video game: the player picks a character to "punish" and uses their hand or a plastic finger included with the cabinet to complete the action. It gained international notoriety years after its release, when it circulated online as an extreme example of Asian arcade humor. More than for its gameplay, it's interesting as a case study of the limits of coin-op entertainment: a cabinet designed to provoke reactions rather than to test a skill.
