City Connection is a 1985 action game developed by Jaleco in which the player drives a small sports car across the rooftops of different cities around the world, leaving a stripe of paint in its wake while dodging police cars and cats that throw flowerpots at it. The goal of each level is to cover the entire scenario with the colored stripe before time runs out. It's a particular example of how mid-80s arcades unabashedly mixed genres: a platform chase with maze logic, set on a world map that gave visual variety to each stretch.
