Daiku no Gensan (known in the West as Hammerin' Harry) is a 1993 Irem action arcade game in which a carpenter travels through side-scrolling levels hitting enemies with his hammer, in a lighthearted, colorful tone uncommon for the genre. The structure combines platforming with direct combat and stage bosses. It's one of the most charming offerings in Irem's 90s action catalog, remembered for the peculiarity of its premise -a construction worker as an action protagonist- within a genre dominated by soldiers and ninjas.
