E-Swat: Cyber Police is a Sega action arcade game released in 1989, in which a police officer starts unarmed and incorporates pieces of robotic armor as he progresses, gaining new weapons and abilities along the way. The structure mixes platforming and shooting against future organized crime. It's fondly remembered for that satisfying power progression, which would later get an expanded version for the Mega Drive. Within Sega's late-80s arcade catalog, it's one of the most solid and least cited action titles.
