Angel Wish - Kimi no Egao ni Chu! falls within the tradition of early-2000s Japanese romantic visual novels: branching narrative, anime-art character portraits, and a story built around forming bonds with various suitors until reaching one of several possible endings. It's representative of a niche Dreamcast cultivated almost exclusively for the Japanese market.
It never got a release outside Japan and today is a minor piece even within its own genre, interesting mainly to those following the history of visual novels from the Dreamcast era closely.
