Part of Fushigi no Dungeon, the Japanese school of roguelike Chunsoft shaped alongside Fuurai no Shiren: randomly generated dungeons, items that change every run, and the certainty that dying means losing everything. This Game Boy version was published only in Japan and in Japanese.
Today it interests those tracing the genealogy of the Japanese roguelike before the genre gained visibility in the West. It's a hard-to-find piece outside its market, with scarce documentation in other languages.
