007: Agent Under Fire arrived on GameCube in 2002, a year after its debut on PlayStation 2, and marked Electronic Arts' arrival as James Bond's new video game home after the deal with Nintendo and Rare ended. It's a first-person shooter with twelve original missions -not based on any film- where Bond chases down industrial magnate Adrian Malprave, with driving stretches behind the wheel of an Aston Martin, a BMW, and even a Soviet tank. Today it's remembered as GoldenEye 007's most direct heir in the post-N64 era: without reaching that same significance, it keeps the same spirit of covert action, and its split-screen multiplayer with bots is still a good excuse to gather four players together.
