Bokujou Monogatari: Shiawase no Uta is the original Japanese version of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, the Marvelous Interactive game that narrates, across several decades, a farmer's life from youth to old age, with marriage, children, and the passage of time as central themes.
It marked a turning point for the saga by reducing the daily urgency of earlier entries in favor of a slower, more contemplative pace, a decision that split fans but is remembered today as one of the series' most personal offerings.
