Bokujou Monogatari - Shiawase no Uta for World is the Japanese version made for the international market of what became known in the West as Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, Marvelous's farm simulator where players inherit an abandoned plot of land and build, crop by crop, an entire life alongside the town's neighbors.
This entry marked a turning point for the series by introducing the passage of seasons across full years rather than just a single season, laying the groundwork for much of the farm-life simulators that would follow.
