Bokura wa Kaseki Horider ('We Are Fossil Diggers') has the player dig up, clean, and identify fossils of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures, in an educational-playful format designed to spark Japanese kids' interest in paleontology, a topic with enormous appeal in the local children's market.
With no release outside Japan, it's representative of that very specific segment of DS's domestic catalog dedicated to concrete children's hobbies -dinosaurs, insects, fossils- that rarely crossed borders.
