A Japanese conversion of Capcom's classic wartime plane shooter, released for the PC Engine at the height of the late-80s vertical shooter craze: hunt down enemy fighters, dodge flak, and stack power-ups against waves of enemy aircraft over the Pacific. It never left Japan, making it an oddity even within the 1943 lineage itself. For anyone who's already worn out the original arcade game, this is the natural continuation: same pulse, same wartime fervor, now in the living room.
