Ace Lightning brought the universe of the TV series of the same name to PS2, a British production that mixed live action with computer-generated video-game characters, with the title superhero facing off against his villains in action and platforming levels aimed at the kids who followed the show. It's a typical mid-2000s TV license, made to accompany the small-screen phenomenon rather than to innovate in gameplay.
It survives today only as a memory for those who grew up with the show: outside of that specific fondness, it's a minor licensed game among dozens of similar ones that populated PS2's European catalog.
