Known in the West as Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, it was developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and released in 2005. It set aside the non-linear exploration format that made Symphony of the Night famous to bet on a third-person hack-and-slash, with Hector -a former demon forger in Dracula's service- as protagonist and an "Innocent Devils" system for creating and summoning allied creatures in combat. It sits within the series' classic timeline, between Dracula's Curse and Symphony of the Night.
For the Castlevania fan it's an atypical entry -closer in spirit to a Devil May Cry than to a metroidvania- and it remains an interesting detour within the series' catalog on PS2.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
