Alien Storm is a 1990 Sega arcade game that combines melee-fighting stretches with first-person shooting sections, alternating both styles within the same playthrough. The three protagonists — Karnov's-style urban exterminators — take on an alien invasion with an aesthetic somewhere between comic book and 80s pulp. It's a title remembered today for that genre mashup, uncommon at the time, more than for any memorable difficulty. A good pick to play with a friend and enjoy the back-and-forth between punching and aiming.
