Borench is one of those names that survive almost exclusively in arcade board preservation catalogs, without the press coverage or collective memory that its more successful contemporaries had. Its name and region of origin suggest a limited-run production, probably meant for a very specific segment of the arcade market. Like so many other minor titles of the arcade golden era, its value today is mostly documentary: a reminder that for every big hit there were dozens of games that were born and died almost without a trace.
